A brass or gold looks to be painted on it. My mother said it is at least 70 years old and maybe older. What is it? Worth?

Your pictures aren't great. Would help if you took some better ones & had them right way up. But it could be goofus glass, although I don't see any red on them, but could be inside. If it is, not alot of value I'm afraid.

No red in it. Just looks like a brass or gold or copper painted on the outside. My mother thinks it is gold that is painted on it. Says it is was my grandmothers Aunts. So I suspect it is possibly 100 yrs old or more.

are you sure its painted on the outside....it looks to have a mirror finish..but you would,nt get that if it was painted on the outside...

See if anything is on the bottom !!

I looked for markings but it does not have any stamps or markings.

That is called gold enameling and is applied to the outside and can wear off with harsh scrubbing ect !! Try looking here and if its not theremm email the site owner !! There are links on each pitcher description !! Let us know what they say !!
