Title: Help with info about and value of this old industrial desk lamp

I've been searching everywhere for info about this desk lamp.
I got it from a friend of the family who's father was a CEO or similar at some company, and he had this lamp on his desk.
I should probably be from around 1920-1930s ?
It works fine, and looks real nice.
What would be a realistic value?

This could be classed as early art-deco...it looks better than this one on ebay...
