I know several members are in the path of the storms that devastated Oklahoma, and Missouri !! So everyone check in and let us know you are OK !!

Stay safe all of you out there! We are thinking of you!

We are fine!!! Just have family in Moore, OK area. Can't get ahold of them due to phone service down!
Praying for all that have been devastated and those that are so selflessly helping them!!!!
Mart keep your head up...see lots are forming southwest of us and heading eastward. Hopefully will dissipate before they reach us or you!!!! Stay safe!!! Granbury the other week was devastating!!!!

My prayers are with all in Oklahoma. Awful scene there. I hope all the kids in that school are OK. Mart it looks like that line of storms is headed through Texas. Is it?
-
Definitely said prayers for them. I have a few friends from Moore, OK. One of them and her children recently moved back here this year to OH. The kid's dad still lives in Moore. I just found out he is okay. Not sure of their friends. It is really devastating.

Unless it changes they are giving our tornado threat at low !! Radar looked like its going to split again and go north and south of us and just mostly rain here but will have to watch tomorrow !! Weatherman said it will die down some tonight and pick up again noon or after tomorrow !! But its the weather,, we will have to wait and see,,it can change at any time !! I watch channel 12 in Shreveport and they usually hit us pretty accurately !!

Been on the fully-loaded prayer-wagon here too !
That 1200 mile-long string of storm fronts/rears is really quite huge !
Having been in the 'Big Middle' of 3 tornados in my lifetime , I sure do have recall of how it's like .
Seems like it took folks a couple of days to shake-off the 'numb' (shock) & figure out "What's next?" , in all the ones seen by me .
When folks die in one , that's another story , though .
Hoping for grace & mercy for all , over yonder , kin or not !

Glad you are OK KC. Sending out positive thoughts and prayers for your family's safe return.

Thanks for the prayers. They have been answered. Just heard from our family. They had been in the area 1 hour before it was hit and had gone for a doctor's visit!!!!! Their home was spared.
They are getting hammered with more rain/storms now AND are under tornado watch again!!!
Mart, sleep with one eye open!! :)

We had a tornado to the west in Sedalia Missouri, but just torrential downpours and wind here.
We had Joplin a couple of years ago, and that's enough for 10 lifetimes!
I think a detachment from Joplin is already on the way to Moore. My thoughts are with them!
