Title: Old Heart shaped jewelry box. (Garage sale find)
Post by: Peaceman on May 21, 2013, 02:34:19 PM
Here is another piece I picked up at the same garage sale as the bride's basket I posted.  I paid a whopping $ 2.  I was told this was very old as well.  It has no markings.  It weighs 2Lbs 2.5 oz.  It is 6.25" in length and width and 3" high.  It is 3-piece molded.  Maybe a gift back in the day with the brides basket?  Any help would be great.

You lost me on that one...

Either that box has a new liner or it is in awfully pristine condtion to be truly antique. I'd guess reproduction.

Jithro Till must be the American spelling. Like Sonny Til and the Orioles must have been Sunny Tul across the pond. For you young ones, and Mart, who don't know, he was one of the greatest voices in black rhythm and blues in the 50's.
