Title: japanese art work?

i have some prints can anyone help me identify them?  :)  i know they are quite old as they were my fathers, but i cant find anything like them

Is there a 'chop' stamp on it/them ?

I can't seem to see one in the image you've posted .... & is this print in B&W ?

Pics ok..and they open up...first one has colour, and a signature beside an orange round stamp,2nd pic has same orange mark,along with a signature...

Yes they are Japanese...Mt Fuji..is unmistakable

...Ip,..if you open the pic up,you can zoom in...at least i can....but here it is just in case you can,t,..i thought if i copied the zoomed in pic it would stay...but it did,nt,but you should be able to click on it,then you,ll see the magnifying symbol..

I did zoom in, BW, but the seal is still blurred.

Same prob here , as with Ipcress , can't see a clear chop , even with chop-shopping it !

alba , since we all are assuming that your cool little items are prints , I'm wondering if you've given them a once-over with magnification to see if the red 'chop' mark seems to be printed also ?
Sometimes you may find that items like yours may be prints , yet can also be hand-embellished/colored ... sometimes this means the print might just be worth a few-to-many bux more ....

Well, don`t know about swingin` but was sure suburban !! I did my bedroom in that stuff !!

hi the chop is defo embelished ,  it is a print but on top is black ink painted in areas x
