The glass itself has tons of rivets in it. No clue about this...help??

Can,t anyone take a proper pic these days,,,this lamp is a vertical standing lamp...but you show it horizontally.....an d as for "rivets"...where i come from these are rivets....

Sometimes the forum software flips images - if i left click on the link and open it with my software, it is vertical - and my software doesn't automatically correct it.

I think rivets are the same on both sides of the pond, and I'm baffled by the "glass is full of rivets" statement.

maybe he means little dimples...or air bubles...

It looks like your candle lamp base is made from spun brass. If so, I'd guess it dates back to the later half of the 19th century.

Pic is too big to enlarge !! Just blurs !! Never heard of rivets in glass !! Explain and correct pic please !!
