About 2 years ago I found this chair at a garage sale for $ 30. I've tried to find some information on it without any luck. It does not have a makers mark. Any help would be great, thanks again.

Expensive Kindling over here..... ;D...and about 1/2 an hours burning...if that....

It is a commercially produced Mission style chair from around 1910 or so. The screws indicate that it is not a Stickley or a any other well known maker.

'Patch is correct. In addition, it's made of oak so if you feel industrious, strip off that nasty paint and you'll have a nice looking chair.

Yup !!! Unfortunately what you paid then is about what its worth is today !! I would refinish and recover it !!

Agree on the value!
Would make a great "time out" chair! Even for "older" folks! Hint!

Make it look good and it will serve you and future generations. It will never wear out and is probably pretty comfortable

It isn't firewood....ignore him!
So Wullie, if furniture is firewood, then what are these?
