I have this African figure of a woman holding a baby while balancing a basket on her head. It seems to be made of a bronze material wrapped around a coal type material. There are rectangular portions of the bronze that have been cut away to show the coal type material on the inside. 2 spots on the back of the head behind the ears, 2 spots on the underarms, and then the entire inside of the legs and crotch area. The dimensions are approximately 14.5" high x 5" wide at shoulders x 1.5" thick at waist.
Some keywords that I have been trying are:
african woman figure
african cameroon
african woman statue
african figure maternity
Any help would be appreciated. If you need better pictures let me know and I can set up some higher definition pics in my dropbox.
Thanks for your help,

I,d be surprised if this was made of bronze,or a mix of bronze, and another medium...its more likely to be lignum Vitae...which, is a very hard wood, which, does not float...
