Title: Vintage Horse Head Design Metal Tin Case, holds soap?

Hello guys. I have this vintage looking metal case that has a horse head design on top of the lid. Do you happen to know what it was made to hold? A bar of soap? Cigarettes? And would you know around about how much this could be worth? Thank you so much! :)

It might have been used for Saddle Soap....or it could be for hand rolling tobacco....does the lower half of the tin,have a rolled edge...which it would have if it was a tobacco tin....helps keep tobacco moist....

The bottom looks the same as the top, the edge design. Would you know how much this could be worth? Thank you.

What is the depth? And are the top and bottom equal or is the bottom deeper?

looking again at the frontal pic,i,d have to say its for holding rolling tobacco..as i can see that there is a raised decoration..which indicates to me that it acts like a clasp,..as for the sides being sloped Mart...well, the lower part is smaller than the upper part, but the sides are straight...thats looking through my near 20/20 vision £300 specs... ;D ;D

it,ll be a plain bottom..cos if it had a nags head on the underside it would,nt be sitting flat...

Don,t be silly....its my spectacles that are worth £300.....your tin....maybe £20...if you,re lucky....with a good wind behind it...and the buyer having a white stick and a dog.... ;D..£300... ;D ;D ;D...choke......

Does it look as if it had glue on the inside at some point?  Are the circles (which appear to be paint missing) on the inside...in fact areas that are missing finish?

Wonder if it was lined at some point and the lining removed.
