Hello,
I have a plate given to me years ago. I have always been curious who the maker, age, etc. The mark is a green crown. Inside the bottom of the crown it has BAVARIA also in green. Bavaria is NOT under the crown, but inside the crown itself. I can try to download a pic if needed. I thought it was Haviland or Limoges, but could never find any others describing this particular mark. Thank you for any information.

I have seen several plates from bavaria with the winterling marktleuthen mark under the crown. You may view the picture at http://www.pbase.com/image/17592020 (http://www.pbase.com/image/17592020). They have a website at http://www.heinrich-winterling-marktleuthe...nglish/main.htm (http://www.heinrich-winterling-marktleuthen.de/english/main.htm). Hope this helps!
