Own this African art with pregnant females . Looks like a container or drinking flask . Who has any clue what country made and the possible age ? thanks

with over 2000 tribes in Africa....where do you want us to start....

Well . First of all the country maybe ? The way the Africans form there figures is very distinguish to the area . So it is possible to pinpoint a location and after that maybe the tribe involved .

Where did you get this....if my memory serves me well....you are in Nederland...if you got it there....then there is a good chance that it came from one of the Dutch colonies...in Africa....see list...
Angola (Luanda, Sonyo and Cabinda)
Arguin Island (in Mauritania)
Dutch Gold Coast (settlements along coast of Ghana, including El Mina)
Goree (in Senegal)
Moçambique (Delagoa Bay)
Sao Tomé

Bigwull is right !! To determine that would take extensive study !! Most of us do not have the kind of time to research a subject so vast !! If it were me,, I would start with the item itself and work back from there with the history ect !! Easier to track it down that way than to wait years on us !! Sorry !!

hi mart, nice seeing you-planted my potatoes yesterday a first for me. Everybody I told that to said I was crazy, they are way too much work and so cheap to buy. That certainly made me feel better. not.

Oh yes Sugarcube !! A row of reds and a row of whites !! Tell them cheap maybe,, but at least yours will not have sat in a warehouse somewhere for a month or more !! And you know how yours are grown !! This is my grocery store,,,,!!

wow mart your garden is massive--how do you keep up--gives home cooked a whole new meaning--you have huge plants ours are just starting we have had so much rain and cold on top of a crazy cold winter.

Oh, by the way mart that's pretty impressive. My friend's son is a "Rhodes Scholar". He's a professor that teaches "Urban Gardening". Your garden could inspire a lot of people.

That's the small garden behind the house !! Have a larger one for corn, peas, beans, watermelon and cantaloupe !! Started sauerkraut today so a few of those cabbages are now missing !! Gardening is simple !! Some people analyze it to death !!
