Title: R Lalique vase
Post by: Melodie on June 19, 2013, 02:21:28 AM
I don't really need any help with this piece. But I love it and thought I would share it with you as requested. It says R Lalique France on the bottom but I couldn't get a clear photo. It needs a wash in these pics and as usual with my photography the photos don't do it justice.  ::)

I don't know whether to list it on ebay or to put it in a bricks and mortar auction here in the uk.

Beautiful piece I would post on Ebay  Lalique sells well on Ebay more traffic than a bricks and mortar unfortunately personally I love to shop in Mom & Pop shops  :D  You will need to get a good photo of the signature for Ebay though.  Good luck

Thanks Wendy I really appreciate your opinion. The vase looks so different now since its had a good wash. It spent a lot of years neglected in storage. Will get some much better pictures for ebay, nicely lit and showing all aspects. Thanks again.

Lalique " Oleron " vase. Worth several hundred dollars, might touch a thousand on a good day. A couple listed on Ebay at stupid prices and obviously not selling.

I'd light that on a black background

Lovely vase !!
