I have a feeling this is not a modern item. The pen might be bakelite and has its nib. The clock is an Elgin and works if wound. The base is black marble and measures 8 x 5 inches and 1 inch thick. Any idea of its value?

Very nice late Deco period,,!!! Can`t enlarge the pic !! Does it have an inkwell with it ??

I saw these often for sale up to the early 80's.
I don't think it is that old.
Pull out the refill on the pen and see what it says.

No inkwell. The pen has some printing on the outside. It took some doing, but I could make out "Geo. S. Parker DUOFOLD. Made in U.S.A. Patented".

Herer,s a similar one thats on ebay....and from what i,ve seen the fact that it says Drufold...makes them worth more...and its not as young as the 80,s ...good find...

Very nice set you have. Like Bigwull said; it has some good age on it.
You would probably have to list it on eBay to realize its true value.
