I am a little late here because I catch on slowly. That's because I am 63. It all started to go downhill on my 63rd birthday. So what did I come here for? Oh right. Happy Birthday Bigwull!

I still can't get over you pay $10.00 a gallon. How would you fill your boat if you had one. You would need oars! ;D

yup, thats what we pay...and we are an oil producing nation...but we are governed by a bunch of thieving gits,..who tax fuel to the hilt..in order to help pay for us going into Iraq...looking for the weapons of mass destruction...that GW Bush and Tony Blair....said was there,...but we now know they were telling porkies.....

We're not as bad off as wullie.......but worse off than you guys.......$5.00 / US gal. That's actually
the lowest it's been for summer months in several years. We have paid close to $7.25 some summers.

And I drive a 16 yr old, Grand Cherokee V8 (full time all wheel drive :P ). Don't get me wrong,
I love my baby, but trips to 'town' are planned well in advance so they don't have to be done
again for another 3 or 4 months.

They drill everywhere offshore here for oil and the bloody natural gas lines crisscross the province as
it begins it's journey to south of the border.....though we don't get to use it, thanks to our own provincial
government's deal making prowess  :(

Add a dollar to the price and you have Sunny SoCal prices. Days like this I don't miss my '66 Lincoln Continental very much at all.

Happy birthday Big Wullie!

Hey Sapphire,, have you had any problems with the instrument panel on your Jeep ??   Hubby wants to buy me a new car but I love my 2001 Jeep !! But the dash panel quit and it seems Jeep doesn`t know why !! Everything from 1997 to 2009 have the same problem with dash panel !!  Can`t find anyone that has figured it out !!
