Title: Aurora sp mfg muffineer. Rare? Value? Any info?

Does anyone have any info on this items history or value? I could only find one website but with only little info. Please help ad thank you

Aurora Silver Plate Mfg. Co was in business from 1869 to 1919 in Aurora Ill.   Haven`t had time to look but you can probably find the history online !!  Value of this Muffineer since it is silverplate about $20. !!

The design and style of this one reminds me of those aluminum serving trays that were so prevalent in the 20's to 30's!

The top on this one is unique! 

Just searched it...and one sold in 08 on worthpoint.  Sorry, no membership there to retrieve value for you at that point.  Interesting item description tho' on how it works and does/doesn't stay together!

Googled and found one,,same kind of top for sale at $19.95 !!
