Title: furniture prices
Post by: britlass on February 13, 2005, 07:22:27 AM
I have a primitive(I think) oak table and 4 chairs from the 1930's.Unfortunately someone has attempted to strip it. It has 2 extra leaves. The chairs did, at one time have a handpainted design in yellow and burgandy on the backs. I think this is only worth about a hundred dollars. Any ideas or suggestions? There is a number on the bottom of the table which reads 1937, year or auction number????? The table top is 2 solid pieces, with 2 leaves. Thankyou

the 1937 could be a date. is the table top a solid board or plank.?
