Set includes an English lawyer robe and wig original tin box. Early 20th century.
how much do you think is worth?
thanks.

found this on ebay...not as good as what you,ve got...but its a start...with you having the tin box and wig....i,d say..to the right person this has to be worth a fair bit....coupled with the fact that you have the name...maybe you could contact the law society..in England....or do a search on that name....who know,s he/she might have been involved in a high profile case....in the past....

If yours is authentic...the wig should be made of horses' hair. The case is usually referred to as a tole case or tole box.
For value sake....This wig and tole box sold for $925.

The style of the robe makes a difference as well. It can help determine if it was original with this or was a graduation robe that was put with this.

ok i got an answer from them and this what they told me:"The items that you have look authentic to me.They will probably date from 1920 to 1952 as it as it has an Ede & Ravenscroft label (not Ede & son) and it is to appointment to the King and Queen which would be either George V and Mary(1910-1936) or George VI and Elizabeth(1936-1952)"
than i asked how much they think it worth, and the answer was:"It is difficult to place a value on this items, especially without being able to see them and their condition. If you were to buy them brand new, the wig would retail at GBP 560.00, the gown at GBP 199.00 and the case at GBP 235.00."
