Hi all,
I found this whilst turning out (again(!)). I have no idea where it is from, who it is or even why I have it in my home! :-\
I think it is brass and the lenses are glass. To get the photos out, the top attachment is unscrewed and the surround 'springs' open.
Any ideas?

Do you know the people in the photos? These are very collectible. You can find them on eBay. Some can be pictures of the deceased.

it does,nt look like brass,'''check the coupling for any marks....the band that holds the pics looks like copper gold or rose gold....might just be plated,but you never know...can you read what it says on the sailors hat band...
