I'm working for a couple of guys that got their hands on an old warehouse full of antiques. A good majority of it is New Orleans historical documents and such.
Right now I'm working on trying to find the value of this first piece. I'll add pictures later, but it appears to be in fairly good condition. It's a Times Picayune 1935 issue. Does anyone have any clue what this would go for? Or where I can look to help me figure out the value? Thank you so much.

Welcome to the forum , Jessica_Lynn .
Generally speaking , I've found that the front page news covered by any newspaper is the focus for many buyers (historical-local/regional/nat'l) & reflects what an individual is willing to pay for them .
Masthead collectors might also be interested , but that's a small niche (who often get mastheads for free) .
Even without seeing/seeing a photo of your item , I'd say that you oughta not plan on retiring from any profits from its' sale !
Let's see what others have to say !

Thank you for the reply! Like I said, I'm working for a couple of guys from New Orleans. They are looking to get around 12,000 out of it, which not knowing exactly what we're dealing with, I was skeptical.

Sad to say but unless some major historical event was front page coverage,,pt will sell for about $10. !! Even with a historical event about $20. !! There were just too many printed to be worth much !!

Depends on the event and the quality of the newspaper.
You have an Illustrated London News from 1912 or a Punch from 1889 and it can be $200 or more.
( 1912 - Titanic, 1889 - Jack The Ripper )

Wouldn`t sell like that here !! They used pretty cheap paper back then !!

Of course, the big news back in Louisiana in 1935 would have been the shooting of Huey Long. But I would think there were plenty of newspaper copies saved that covered the event.
