I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the company that made this bottle and its contents.
Basically any knowledge on it at all.

When my grandfather bought it he asked around in the town and no one knew anything about it at all.
So if you can tell me anything on it it would be appreciated.

JL Simcoke was a pharmacist in the late 1800s and early 1900s in Iowa. He was a Sunday School supervisor and was also wounded in a robbery according to what I found in old archives. I did not have time to really look further. Put "J L Simcoke" in quotes and you will find quite a bit. Use CTRL F to search the document. Fortunately Iowa kept all of the records on everything. Those documents can be hard to search as they do not scroll easily.
