Title: Small Bisque Doll
Post by: debodun on July 21, 2013, 10:20:33 AM
About 5" long. Probably given away at carnivals as prizes. This one, unfortunately has lost her arms which may have been the only moving part. Any idea of value?

Back when she had arms and toes, and her original cold paint...maybe $20. Today...if it was mine, I'd give her a decent burial. ;)

Believe it or not, there are some crofters out there that love these types of item.  Only about $5 to $7.

Seen them made into pin cushions!

You can pick up spare arms on Ebay. Buy her some arms and make a little dress, put her on a shelf and enjoy her company! I love these little bisque dolls!

bury or cremate it...not worth spending more $...if its only going to be worth $5/7
