This clock I believe is german? and anyone date it for me and maybe value? it has a top but it lays on this clock so I wondered if it was just put there for a reason It don't look to me as if it belongs

You will need to open the back of the clock and check both the inside of the case and the mechanism for names, dates or marks.
If your clock was ever cleaned or repaired, the person who did said would oftentimes write the date when the work was performed on the inside of the case.

I can not find anything inside clock I did find a service ticket in 1991 it said German barometer clock what date would that be? it is old
