just thought i,d share with you, a recent...purchase.. .that i made...it was yesterday....it a fully working radio controlled Type V11b..U-boot...model, she,s 57in long,7in wide and 14in to the top of the periscope,..she cost me £400....or approx $600....and as you can see she looks fantastic....the guy who built her,has made a great job of weathering her......oh,..and before anyone asks,.... Avril does,nt know yet..... :D...but she soon will,...as it won,t go into my den,...Wonder if she,ll let me put it on the mantle piece ;D

Does that actually operate above and below the surface? I think it is fantastic. I would not ask to put it on the mantle. It is too far to fall if Avril has an issue with it.

I guess the next home project will be a backyard pond (or should that be ocean?)
Though that may lead to a burial at sea. :D

Does it fire torpedoes? I could use something to clear out jet skiers when I go fishing

this one does,nt but,..a friend of mine has one that does fire torpedoes....and he has them fitted with rc gear, and can even fit a small charge in the warhead whereby they explode on contact...the technology is here...there is very little that can,t be done nowadays....
