Title: can anybody give information on this thermos

Found this thermos  was just looking for more information on it. Couldn't find any information when I searched it online. Any information would be helpful.

The Japanese port trade fair,, is a huge trade show where manufacturers show potential products they hope to market and sell !!  Same as all the trade shows here !! Chances are this was one of the products that didn`t make it since I can`t find a reference to it. Possibly bought by someone after the show or was a freebie that they gave hoping they would like it !! Packaging looks like 50`s or 60`s !!

Maybe that was a ...... "crock-pot for dieters".

Other brands like this thermos were advertised for soups, drinks ect !!

Mart, that is not a thermos.

alstran.., got you on the wrong track by calling it a thermos.

It is 12 volt "Auto Pot" ..... with a ... thermostat ....that plugs into a vehicle's cigarette lighter.

So did I and couldn`t find this brand !! That's not unusual with items that don`t make the grade for production !! Another option would be that this was a gift for those that came to exhibit at that trade fair and was never offered for public sale !!

I've searched all ways (vintage auto hot water kettle, etc....)  No luck.

I also believe it was possibly a short run made for the show that didn't go over with vendors.  Sorry!
