I 'think' this is a coffee set, the pot seems shaped more for coffee than tea, though as an amateur I'm probably wrong. What's odd to me is that the set seems to be put together with silver plated acorn nuts. It seems to be very heavy duty. Has anyone seen any like this and might possibly know the date it may have been made?

Try searching for Wilcox Coffee set, Quadruple Plate, Aesthetic.

I tried all variations of that along with looking at all the Wilcox silver plate for sale on Ebay. I did find a place that I could download a Wilcox Silver Plate catalog I believe it's from 1898 - http://www.cmog.org/library/wilcox-silver-plate-cos-illustrated-catalogue-and-price-list-staple-goods-electro-gold-and-0 (http://www.cmog.org/library/wilcox-silver-plate-cos-illustrated-catalogue-and-price-list-staple-goods-electro-gold-and-0) I'll keep looking and see if I can come up with anything.

According to what I found this mark was used From 1870`s to 1920 !! Even used the same mark after joining International silver. The number was said to be the catalogue number !!
