Title: Need Help Identifying This 1950's Car!

Hi All!

We are going through my better half's family photos and there is a pic of the family in this "unknown" car.  Can Anyone help identify it?

Fiat 600 Multipla to be absolutely exact !!  ( I think  ::) )    :D

Yayyyyyy!   1956 Multipla!!!!

THANKS YA'LL.. my whipper snapper son come up with it at the SAME Time  :(  Now I OWE him!!!!  BUT after research it is a Multipla on a Fiat 600 base.  They even had a Marine version to go in the water, a taxi version and this version which was noted as a station wagon but has been touted as the first minivan!!! 

Thanks so much!  Visiting family in CA and going through family slides/movies!

I agree Mart!!!  Their family living in CA had lots of interesting cars...many of which would go in the water!

This one we can't identify that Uncle Vere was driving.

I think that one was just called an Amphicar Or google 1950`s amphibious cars !!

Yay Mart...you are a winner!  1964 Ampicar!!!!!  Those suckers are selling for $38k up!!!!!

Those things were cool! I wouldn't rolling up to the harbor and getting in line at the launch ramp with one of those! Then again, the harbor resembles L.A. traffic this time of year, so maybe next season.

its just bummer  when you drop an H...then the amphicar...becomes an electric car....ampicar.... ;D.....

I can't believe what they are selling for these days in great shape.  From $30 - $45k! 

I guess I am shocked at how many cars have been made over the years to go in the water!  Amazing!

Wow!!!  I prefer a boat or seadoo on the water and to swim in the water!  Cars can stay on land for me!
