I was told these came back to Australia with a Vietnam Vet. They are painted on a leaf and mounted on cardboard. They are a very high quality and I love them.anyone know where I can trace the artist name? Or what they would be worth? I got them at garage sale and the woman there was marking everything with texta...A real no no in my book.look what happened to the bottom one, some texta got on it.
they are the size of a drink coaster.

Also search Bodhi leaf art/paintings or Vietnamese leaf art.

Thanks KC. I think it would be a bodhi leaf. ,but the artist still remains a mystery.Brilliant portraits and much loved

Well it seems that this is big business !! Just google Vietnamese leaf paintings and you will find many of them including schools that specialize in leaf painting !! If your artist is still working you may see if he in on one of the pages !!
