Title: Glenwood dishes
Post by: ruthannstovall on March 05, 2005, 04:42:57 PM
I have recently inherited a set of dishes that were made by International D.S. Co and the pattern name of "Glenwood".  Everything I have found on the internet talks about Noritake Glenwood but that is not this pattern.  These dishes have a pink rim with a white magnolia and several leaves in the middle.  I would love to continue the collection because my mother loved these dishes so much.  Any information any one could pass on would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Well, I struck out too, and this kind of research is "what I do".  What I would like to do is find International D. S. Co.  No luck.

What you are describing seems to me like a 1940's 1950's pattern.  Of course I'm picturing from a description.  But Homer Laughlin was one prolific company that made patterns like this.  They are lovely, and I would enjoy finding additional pieces for you.  May I suggest:

They can help identify and search for - - they need photos or even a sketch of backstamp.  Another source that can help is:
