Thanks for sharing Wullie! I have looked at the specialty stores in our area and they haven't heard of them?!?!? Does it have another name?

they are a Scottish sweet....as it says on the jar.....and to be truthful...i bought a quarter lb the other day...and they tasted just like they did when i was 10...rotten..... ;D...give me a soor ploom any day.... ;D...or even better...a Berwick Cockle....
