I got this book and it has a very interesting cover for its time period. Says Riverside Edition The Writings of James Russell Lowell in Ten Volumes Volume 1. Literary Essays Houghton, Mifflin and Company. I can't find one with the same cover and binding. Any information would be great. Thank you.

I'm in Maine. I saw some of the red ones but can't find this color. I thought it was very innovative for the time period.

I just have this one. I'm going to keep my eyes out to see if more of them surface in the area. I picked it up at a Goodwill store so more may show up.

Half morocco, marbled boards, spine bands.
Look great on shelves.

Very pretty but not worth a lot of money. Not a rare or sought after title, so it's mostly decorative value.
