Title: Commemorative Medallion

Anyone have any background info on the event this medallion commemorates? Over 100 years old. All metallic, 1.25 inches in diameter, probably brass or bronze. Any value to it?

You could try e-mailing the museum asking about the medal, how many were produced, who was it given to etc. I'm sure they'll love to help.
