Here's what I believe is a wood carving of some type of African tribal woman's head and neck? It measures about a little under 7" tall.
Do any of you know where this may have originated from? And the value of this piece? Thank you. :)

Trying to find out where this originated...along with your other one....is like looking for the needle in the haystack....unless there is a mark or a name.....which rarely there is...then take your pick from the 2000+ tribes in Africa......

There are many of this type statue on ebay !! Value from what I saw is anywhere from $7.00 to $14.99 asking price !! These are made for the tourist trade,, they may or may not represent anything pertaining to the carvers tribe or any other !! They are simply made to sell !!

Nice piece of wood, though. Well carved, with some age to it.
