Just curious as to the correct time period and maker of this piece. I would like to see what it originally looked like. It has very obvious embellishments that do not match. The trim around the top middle drawer is obviously from Lowes as well as the junk between the handles, there also appears to be some sort of do hickey attached above the handles of both cabinets. I'm pretty sure my wife paid to much for this, just wanted a pros opinion.

LOL @ pretty sure my wife paid to much
Hey, easy now! or we'll tell the wife!
Looks to be depression era (1920-30) side board with many different styles rolled into 1 piece which is common. The top drawer looks like it had it's veneer replaced in a botched repair attempt, ditto the egg & dart moulding which is still available new.
Value, geez, i dunno, not alot here on the east coast, maybe $200-300 or so, where are you located?

Jacobean revival sideboard/server from that time period !! Looks like someone took a drawer that was similar size and jazzed it up a bit !! Pulls are different from bottom drawer, wood is different,,,a bit too different for my taste and has had a bit added,,yes,, probably from Lowes !! Did you buy this from a shop ??

Yeah, there are alot of estate sales in Fla and, it's easy to over pay for items if 2 or more people want the object. $300 is not horrible but not a real bargain either.
