Title: Need a history lessons as well as a value

My grandmother has passed this down to me, and would like to find some things out about it.

brass ewer..what are the dimensions, any marks on it...any knowledge as to when she got it....but at the moment from where i,m sitting...it does,nt look like it has much value...as to origin...Timbuktoo. ...perhaps.... ;)

With that design registration number it's from between 1960-1970.  GG

Quite a few of these around. All brass or mixed materials. Not worth very much and GG has dated them for you.

Very similar to a lot of the India brass pieces from the same era. Not usually worth much.

Yes, please say what the "set" consists of. A pic of the set would be nice as well!
