Title: 1828 circa pillow hand-beaded pillow

We have a hand-beaded pillow in the shape of a flower, circa 1828.  Beading is done on dark brown velvet background.  Beads are yellow, blue, red, black, green, and clear.  Interested in learning information on its value and possibly who made it?

In the last 8 weeks or so, Antiques Roadshow has featured some beaded pillows from that era.  Some very valuable items were native American.  May I suggest you contact a nearby university or museum for 19th century "needle arts"?  Gather as much family info. as you can= re: dates, ownership, pics showing the object are always useful.
