Just bought this the description was
It's a Mystery!
- believed to be a tool or implement for creating a seat on a barn beam
- it was found attached to a beam high up inside of an old barn
- it was professionally made
so any opinions??
Thanks
Scott

Now I have seen a lot of barn beams and even dismantled a couple barns to get the beams ...... but I've never heard of a "barn beam sitter" other than maybe a pigeon or an owl and they wouldn't have need of a fancy seat.
Me thinks your table was just stored or hidden there for safe keeping.

How was it attached and what is on that tag on bottom ?? What is the size of the seat/top part ??

I think you might right cogar, the only thing that I wondered about was the long spike in the middle but I guess that could of been stuck in the ground to hold it in place when used like a work bench. Guess not much value here lol only paid $20 bucks though folds up like a lawn chair and doesnt take much space alteast.
anyone else with any opinion on cira or value?
