this looks old at least I think it is, how would you describe it?  No markings

I would call it a primitive wire and metal sculpture !!  What does it do,,sit, stand or hang ??

Have seen similar metal work art over the past 25 years...don't believe it is vintage!

They are still popular...especiall y for people without green thumbs!

KC--this one looks all of vintage, has the heavy cast iron base, imagine every tom dick and harry company could have made these?

The twists look soldered , somewhat resemble wire-work from that mobile-inventor fella (not his work ,  though!) , perhaps 1950's ...?

Sugar how big is this piece? Looks to be a place card holder used for table seating possibly at a wedding.

hi wendy so nice to see you

it is 11 inches tall, I took more pics of it this am and of course I have a problem with my camera....it has a heavy cast iron base to it for its size, and in the back the pieces are wired onto it.  If I figure this glitch I'll post later
