Hi,
I just purchased this China Cabinet. I love to know the history of the companies that make the pieces that I have in my home. It says that is was produced by the Knox Hutchins Furniture Company in Paoli, Indiana. I can't seem to find much information about the company. Do any of you know anything about this furniture maker?
Also, I would like to date the piece. It really looks like china cabinets from the 1920's that I have seen online. Is that correct?
Any information will be appreciated! Thanks!

Pretty typical of most cabinets of that period,, 20`s and into 30`s !! Jacobean revival in style !! Less ornate than most you find !! Usually the stretcher has ornamentation !! This one is very simple in comparison but nice !! Let me see what I can dig up on the company !!

HA, that reads like a really fine sermon coming from a well liked Preacher.
Like the ole fellow once told me, ..... you don't get up to the podium and start ranting n' raving about how sinful some members of your congregation are, ..... ya tell them how sinful you once was and that you ask God every day to help you be a better person.
People don't want to hear how bad they are, ...... they want to hear how bad someone else is or was.
