Title: chinese JingDeZhen porcelain in a wicker or rattan box
Post by: daxu on October 26, 2013, 04:08:36 PM
Bought this today.

Although I don't think it is something very old (at most 1960 I guess), I never really saw a JingDeZhen procelain in a quite old (and apparently original) pretty wicker or rattan box.

The mark just says "Chinese JingDeZhen" - factory 8.
Can this box give some clue on when this teapot was made?

Does it say " Made in China " or is it the Jingdezhen mark with 8 at the bottom ?

If it's the latter then you're right about the date. If it's the former then it's more 80's.

it is the Jingdezhen mark first line,
Made in China second line
number 8 at the bottom line.

Thanks
