Post by: greenacres on October 30, 2013, 12:24:39 PM
This a WWll training manual and cook book. The pictures are incredible.  He served on the ship "Liberty". The binding needs total repair.

What a neat remembrance. I assume your Grandfather served on a Liberty class ship. Do you know the name of his ship?

I'll have to research the name of the ship. The book needs to be fixed. It has everything from brocken bones to poisons to shipwrecks.

It's amazing how detailed and the photography that went into publications during WW2.  I have several things from my Uncle that was in that war including a scrap book with very interesting  pictures. Save that book for sure.  They don't make them like that any more.
