On the back it says Der Brautwerber 1964. Oil painting but can't get a handle on it in any way. Had problems with the picture uploading it is somewhat in next block.

Does this one have a name/title ?? One sold back in March at Goodwill for $43. the name was "the Matchmaker" !! Offhand this looks more like a painting for a magazine cover or book illustration than serious artwork !! Should be fairly small ?? In the 20 inch range ?? The one that sold was marked the same and also 1964 !!

And found this one on ebay !! Looks like this is yours !! Maybe the only year he worked was 1964 ??? So far all I found was that same year !!

Mart, it does look like it was for a fun project type thing. Funny you found those 2 listings. I was the one who purchased the goodwill one and that's my Ebay listing. lol Bigwull may be right with the snow white. It is nicely painted though.

You might check German magazines and their illustrators !!
