Hi,all don't mean to waste your time on this, but just curious what the heck this is. Found it a while back metal detecting. Looks like a B M on it, the m is near impossible to make out from pic. Badge? Belt buckle?
-
Thin metal or thick ?? Size ??
-
Kinda thin, 1/8 of an inch at least, approx 3 by 3 inch
-
What design in the center? It seems two a circle a symbol in the center.
-
Greenacres, inside the circle is a fancy B or maybe a 3, but followed by a definite M that is half the size of the B Or 3. 3m the company crossed my mind but nothing on google I can find like this
-
my first impression was a tape measure....but don't know about the size.
Is it hollow?
-
Perhaps a head badge from a tricycle, bike or pedal car !! There was a toy mfr with the BM initials but that was in the UK !!
-
Did you find it anywhere near where the Boston & Maine Railroad operated?
-
Try Bontrager. They made trek bikes.
-
Not it maybe Bohemian bikes.
-
Brunswick is another brand. There is a list of all bike companies on Wikipedia. This company has been around since 1845. This is U, S.A.. There are European brands to.

http://auctionsfind.com/auction/5815 Look at number 11. Look at the back wheel.
-
After looking at this thing a while I think KC may be correct in guessing tape measure !! There is a little niche where the tape would have come out !! There was a Braunsdorf Mueller co that made tools and hardware !! They started in 1901 !! Haven`t looked the company up yet !!
-
Don't think this is a tape measure cause if it is they must have accidentally put the logo upside down:) I'm leaning toward mart with the petal car idea? Oh rauville, long way from Maine ,Alberta. Thanks guys for helping me with this worthless piece of crap! Curiousity!!!
-
I was thinking that too. As I looked at bikes there were no parts resembling that part. Then I thought it had to be something to like that. I agree with mart.
