I know I am a bit different. Always have been. I march to my own beat and have very eclectic taste. If it's weird I like it. haha

Red slag, ..... I like. I have several pieces of Westmoreland.

The Bird creature is just one of many models that you can get,..from the Triptych...I first saw this model, in a shop in Hertogenbosch...in the Netherlands,..the shop is run by a descendant of the artist,
-
That Westmoreland is nice !!
-
Agree the Westmoreland looks great!
Sorry, that looks like an incense burner.... Good try!!
-
That's what I thought too KC !!
-
I thought I would give it a shot , haha he has 2 little holes in his head. I figured he was an incense burner. I was looking at those Go to bed things and it is crazy what they get for those,
I saw the Westmoreland and loved the colors. I haven't seen one that color before. In perfect condition too. Jumped right on that one. Heres a pic of the inside,

Wouldn't it be a great find to get one of his original paintings? Very complex.

He had a very interesting mind to create such elaborate pieces. He was way ahead of his time.
-
I sent pictures of my incense holder to Edgar Owen he is an expert on Pre Columbian art. He writes back "Mexico, c. 1000-1500 AD. Value maybe $250-$350".. I'm really happy with my incense holder that I got for $5 now! :) :)

I almost messed up. I listed him on Ebay for $29.95 figuring he was a repo. I noticed he was getting a lot of attention fast, so I took him off and contacted that guy. So glad I did! He is going to hang in for a little bit with me because I know he will go up in value where the market is soft right now and I am kinda fond of him. ;D
