Title: Drawing from what singer ? And made by ?

This one I own some years now but still don.t know who she is and who made it . So any idea ? She looks to me  a bit off a Jazzy type maybe ? And who puts his monogram like this ?

Don't know why but Billy Holiday comes to mind.

Rotated the sig and if it's right side up there looks to be a 40 or 46 ……which may or may not be a year…... and would coincide with the peak of her career.

Just guessing here ;)

I thought of her too.  The hair style isn't like her though unless it is of her when she was younger.  Love her music.  I always sang God Bless the Child to my kids when they were babies.

Thanks and this was bought in a second-hand shop in the Netherlands years ago . So no idea if it's a Dutch drawing or foreign . And never found a monogram like this anywhere yet .

There is a slight resemblance but....Sade...does,nt have the Trout Pout.... :D

Sometimes an artist will exaggerate features !! They paint according to what they see,, not necessarily how they actually are !!

Love your reactions but Sade is not a jazz singer but more R&B with a touch off soul  from the eighties . And a very well known singer but you have to like it .
