What do I call this type of lock? I bought it at a sale in a Victorian home near Chicago. It is heavy cast iron, marked "Columbia Wire & Iron Wks. Chicago. There is a lever next to the keyhole, that moves the latch. I'm guessing there should be a strike catch with it. (I think that's what it's called) A Corbin skeleton key came with it, but I don't think it matches.
Should I just title it "Industrial Pocket Door Lock" in an auction?

My opinion it is not an "Industrial lock" nor a "Pocket Door" lock.
Given the fact that it looks like the "mounting holes" are on the edge of the lock (#3 picture) then I'm guessing it is a "gate lock" for a decorative cast iron gate.
HERE YA GO, .... I just did an "image" search for "decorative cast iron gate w/lock" ... and BINGO.
