Any idea of a value? Thanks!
-
Is it marked Aladdin ??
-
Does it have the original finial? They can be worth as much as the base.
-
Have you checked it under a black light ?? Uranuim oxide was used making the alacite between 1938 and 1942 !! It will glow under a black light the same as Vaseline glass !! That can add to the value if it does !! The shade is not important since it would not be a part of the lamp !!!

Yes, marked Aladdin, but doesn't have the original finial. Haven't tried the black light trick yet.

Rauville is right, the finials are rare. There used to be a dealer around here who would come into the shops & steal all the original finials. I finally kept them in my office & would give them to the purchaser. GG

Not sure and it didn`t say how much was uranium oxide was used but its worth checking !! As to value,, very few bids going on with any of them !!~ I would say $30. to $40. for yours !!
