I have recently became owner of a" Froasted Lion "compote , that has been in the family for many years.It is in prime condition and was wondering the value of this piece.

$150.00 to $175.00 dollars. these were reproduced, in the 1930's. look carefully at the lion's mouth'if the corners droop's down giveing him a sad or angry expression it is a repro. if mouth is straight line. your a ok! gillender& son's circa 1876
