RECOMMENDATION
Next time just add the other pictures to a "reply" on your own post. That way it stays with the same post!
Live side handled pots!

THANK YOU KC good to know
-
KC,
Here's my side handled teapot. One of hubby's finds.
-
To me it looks like a piece that was made in Turkey or Pakistan. That is just an educated guess. The reason I say that is the way the edge of the bottom appears. Are there any dovetails where the piece may be joined? They would run up one side or around the bottom. They are often hard to see.

hi frogpatch,
learned today to hit reply on my own thread so I have two going sorry bout that
I think I have a piece of junk, perhaps some cheap imitation
doesn't look like the inside was ever used how could that be

Love that side handled tea pot. Pic is blurry. What does it say in the logo?
-
KC,
If you're talking about mine, I would need to do a rubbing. The letters do not come out clear in a pic with the small camera. I will try with big camera tomorrow before I do a rubbing.
-
Oops, yes Dogaman! A rubbing would be nice! Like the style of it!
Sugarcube, can't go wrong for that price! I will buy items lots of times just for display as well!
-
Sugar,
One day, at a local flea market, I saw a stall that had hand made wind chimes. The owner used tea pots and hung old silver ware at various lengths for the chimes. Unfortunately, the woman had used a Belleek tea pot and ruined it by drilling holes in it to hang the forks and spoons. Sigh......
-
KC,
Took the tea pot to Antiques Road Show...Early 1900's Chinese ceremonial tea pot. People leave the strangest things behind when they move. And hubby brings some of them home.

Something is up with the website. I cannot add pics. It says I have timed out under Start A New Topic! Will post pics when able.
Found out that my big camera's files are too big. Will PM you, KC.

Okay, let's try this.
-
That's Japanese.
As you look at the image, the character before the chip in the 10 o'clock position looks like the character for Yama. Also the central character.
I'll have a Google for Japanese kyusu teapot
-
Ipcress,
So much for Antiques Road Show...giggle. Thanks for the help.

Plenty of them on Google and on Ebay. Not sure on the maker but here's one with the same handle marks
