Title: painted tin bowl

anybody? Does the house look japanese to anyone else?  How bout the signature?  This is painted really nicely.

Possibly Willi Holtmann? I would try to find an online pic and compare signatures. This one is in block letters; those I found had the '..mann' is script-like squiggles.
