Found this vase at flea market. Love it. The mark appears to be Egisto Fantechi. Any idea of the time period and artist?
-
Hi there and welcome to the group !!~ Must ask how you determined it was by that artist ??
-
It reminds me of Deruta pottery.

http://www.etsy.com/listing/128338925/vintage-italian-deruta-ceramic-charger?ref=market The design is similar.
-
All I see is the style number and decorators mark !!
-
Check Rafaellesco deruta pottery.

I thought it was a compass! ;D Looking at pottery marks online. I'm new to antique and vintage collecting. Is the mark perhaps an A?
-
Deruta? Thank you. I will do that. I appreciate the help.
-
Yes I think it is an A !! Many vintage pieces will have an initial or number or mark of some kind !! That is so the decorators could get paid for each one they painted !!
Deruta, Italy is a good place to start !! It is a similar style !!

Thanks for all the help! :) I did look up Rafaellesco and found some tableware from the 1950's or 60's that matches my vase. It was on an Italian pottery forum. Fantechi, according to the administrator. Here's a pic.

Need a clearer image of the base and also one side of the vase we haven't seen.
It's a Fantechi mark but there are good Asian fakes around. Like the colours on this though.
For example, this is the base of a fake
